We Are Who We’ve Always Been.

Earlier this year I started to upgrade my gear - first a new body, then a couple new lenses. As someone that primarily finds themselves shooting in poor lighting conditions, I wanted better performance. But it’s interesting, because now that I have that, I still lean into editing in a way that is… well, grainy. What can I say, I like grit. In my mind there’s no reason to make these rooms look well lit, because they aren’t. They are… worn, weathered, and grimy in the same way that the beats on 36 Chambers sound dirty.
